Welcome to a new school year in St Patrick’s College and to the online home of our school.
Each new beginning brings new opportunities, new challenges and a fresh start. George Elliot said, “It’s never too late to be who you might have been”. In St. Patrick’s we believe that every student can be who or whatever they want to be – but you have got to work hard. The only place where I have found success coming before work is in the dictionary! We encourage all members of our school community to believe in themselves, in their talents and abilities; to believe in their hopes and dreams for the future.
In St Patrick’s we set the bar very high for everything we do. We in school will do everything possible to help, guide and encourage students to become the very best that they can be.
We invite all our students to be actively and positively involved in all aspects of College life, inside and outside of the classroom – sports teams and clubs, concerts, school shows, after school activities, student councils, Mass and Liturgical Services, school trips, visits and so on. As Principal I regularly tell the students ‘Be proud of your school and make us proud of you’. We are very proud of our past students and staff and all that they have achieved. I challenge the current students in St Patrick’s College to ‘reach for the stars’.
Throughout our long history, none of our success could have been realised without the hard work and commitment of a professional and dedicated team of staff or without the support and loyalty of our parents and local community.
I hope you enjoy perusing our website – either as a past or present student, a parent or other member of the community. I hope it gives you a sense of ‘who we are, what we believe and what we do’ everyday in our school.
