Gaelic Games

St Patrick’s College, Bearnageeha joined the ranks of the Ulster Colleges’ in the later part of the 1990s, competing in all age groups in Gaelic football and hurling.

Under the guidance of dedicated coaches, Bearnageeha has won a number of Ulster Colleges’ titles in both Gaelic football and hurling.

The students that represent the College on the GAA front are drawn mainly from the three local clubs in north Belfast: Pearse’s, Ardoyne Kickhams and St Enda’s, Glengormley.

At St Patrick’s, Bearnageeha, we are extremely proud of what we have achieved in a relatively short space of time. Our aim is to continue with the development of a strong Gaelic games identity in North Belfast. This will undoubtedly be assisted by the building of the synthetic grass pitch at St Patrick’s. Having such a facility within the College grounds will allow for the preparation and development of teams all year round.
