A group of students work closely with Mrs M Getty and Mrs F Conlon to raise funds for a variety of local and global charities. Cake sales, sponsored fasts and silences, walks and bag packing are all part of our efforts to help those most in need.
At Christmas time, students and staff prepare hampers for Vincent de Paul and fill gift bags with presents and toys as part of Catholic’s Caring Christmas Campaign.
During Lent all our efforts are focused on raising funds for Trocaire.
During the year events and activities help other local charities: Teenage Cancer Awareness Trust; NI Hospice; MacMillan Cancer; Marie Curie Cancer Foudation; Simon Community.
Students and staff are also very eager to respond to emergency calls for aid following a natural disaster, famine or communities ravaged by war and conflict.
Reaching out to others in need is an integral part of our school ehtos and Christian mission.
